Netflix gives it's audience various sock designs to choose from which relate to a show
Later, one must knit the sock with detailed instructions on the Netflix website
Then you have to build your own electronic device which includes an accelerometer, which determines when your feet stop moving, IR LED's to send the signal to the streaming device, batteries and a few other components
Then you knit the electronic device within a few layers of the sock
Also, the user must use some computer programming to set up the socks
Lastly, some people strap a pulse sensor to their toe so that it could also send signals to the streaming device
